Meet the band

Dale Clabeaux – Vocals. Originally hailing from Buffalo, NY, Dale cut his vocal teeth in the Western New York music scene, fronting several bands across both original and cover projects. His powerful performances quickly earned him recognition as one of the region’s most promising up-and-coming vocalists.

After relocating to Atlanta in the mid-90s, Dale focused exclusively on original hard rock projects, becoming a driving force behind local favorites: Monkey Shine, Down To The Shake (which released an acclaimed full-length album) and Smash Machine, known for its standout local single.

Dale is widely recognized for his high energy, dynamic stage presence and commanding vocal style, often compared to rock icons Robert Plant, Vince Neil, and Sebastian Bach. His combination of vocal power, charisma, and raw authenticity continues to define him as one of the most compelling front men in the scene today.

With decades of live experience on stages large and small, he has entertained thousands of fans with his solid musicianship, dynamic playing style, and passion for live performance.

Chris Nicol – Bass Guitar
Chris provides the solid, driving low end that keeps crowds moving and the dance floor packed. A longtime fixture in the local music scene, he has spent decades performing and touring throughout the Southeast, including as a guitarist in an instrumental surf-rock band. Today, he brings that experience and groove-focused approach to Moonlight Drivers, laying down the foundation that powers the band's sound.

Bob Berry – Drums
A Columbus, Georgia native, Bob began playing drums at an early age and went on to help power the original Soul Proprietors, a popular horn band that earned national recognition by winning the National Battle of the Bands. Today, Bob combines decades of experience with a deep passion for music, serving on the board of the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville while laying down the rock-solid grooves and “sick pocket” that drive Moonlight Drivers.
